Yay! My First 5K
In about 9 hours, I’ll be wearing this number
and standing in line with my Mom to begin our first 5K.
I should be fast asleep right now but excitement and a little caffeine I had earlier this afternoon have me all kinds of awake at the moment.
I just keep eying what I’m wearing to the race tomorrow
and can’t wait to get out there at sunrise
and feel the cool air on my skin and the anticipation in my lungs.
